The Dress

Amani by Galia Lahav. The gown is made of delicate French lace with details on every inch. Beading, pearls, and sequins from head to toe with ivory and silver hand-embroidered strap details that extend to the neckline (which has an extremely sheer mesh to maintain structure). This gown is stunning and shimmers with such elegance. My favorite part is the cathedral-length train that is unique from the rest of the gown and sheer with beading. There are stitched cups in the chest and fits as a full 36 C bra. The dress is comfortable to wear and dance in, albeit the train can be a bit heavy, but no hindrance to dancing. Although it is considered a mermaid fit, it has a relaxed feel from the waist down. The color is ivory and light blush (which is the color of the slip under the gown). I typically wear size 6-8 in gowns, but this gown was made to my measurements as it is a made-to-order design. The gown is floor length for a height of 5'8". The bottom of the gown became dirty from walking around outside but I had it cleaned and repaired of any pulls by J Sheer Co., as recommended by Galia Lahav in NYC.
