About the Dress

This beautiful Maggie Sottero has a satin bridal wrap wedding shawl scarf.
The corset has some lace and satin embroidery with gold beading and ribbon at the back. The skirt is level to the floor at the front and has a nice train at the back which can be hooked up for when you go dancing. There is net and lace under the skirt. I’ve kept this dress in acid tissue paper so it didn’t lose the colour or fade. One set of hooks needs sewing tighter but the other set are fine. This is to widen or tighten the dress to your size. I was a size 10/12 so it was handy to have a bit of leeway. I’ve just spotted a tear at the bottom side of the skirt. I really hope this dress gets to be worn again as even though I’m sad to part with it after 20 happily married years I really hope that it can make someone else’s day as special as it was for ours!
