This dress is beautifully made and arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately, it just wasn't for me (it's pretty and well made but wasn't like the dress shown on the designer's photos), and it was an overseas order with no returns. So, I'm hoping to find someone else who is right for this dress.

The dress has a keyhole back, built in bra pads, and a fairy-like cape that attaches to the shoulders and back via clear plastic snaps. The dress is embroidered with many beads and lace appliques of flowers and leaves. It laces up in the back; the photos show satin lacing, but it also comes with an optional sheer lacing you can use instead.

The skirt has many layers of tulle beneath which does make this a heavier dress; however, part of that feeling may be because the dress was not made correctly for my height. I stand at 5'1" without shoes; the reason I did not enter a height here WITH heels is because I pretty much wear barefoot shoes only. I don't wear heels at all, and the dress has a few extra inches that would probably work well for someone who wears heels. The skirt just brushed the ground for a friend of mine who tried it on, who stands at 5'5" and was not wearing any shoes. So, it's good for someone a little taller than 5'1" OR who is that height but wants to wear high heels.

Also, while the dress has no labeled size due to this being custom made, it's between a women's 12 and 14, with the bust and hips like a 12 and the waist closer to 14.
