Get ready to meet your Prince Charming in this stunning Stella York Fairytale Wedding Dress (Style 5828).

I felt like a bride in this dress. It is a ball gown style and features a sweetheart neckline; an elaborately beaded bodice with diamantes and crystals; and a drop waist that flows into a full tulle skirt with a train. The bodice is boned and has a lace up, corset back. The skirt features very flattering ruching swept over to the side. The second layer of tulle in the skirt is glittery, which provides a very subtle sparkle through the top layer when it catches the light.

The dress was a Size 9 when I purchased it, but I had it professionally altered (see my alterations notes below). As it has a corset back, it would comfortably fit someone who usually wears a shirt size of between AU Size 6 to a small AU Size 10.
(I usually wear an AU Size 8 top).

I had the dress professionally dry cleaned and boxed shortly after the wedding. It has been stored unopened in my smoke-free, pet-free home ever since.

I absolutely love my dress and felt amazing, comfortable and confident in it on our wedding day. It's really hard for me to part with it. But my hope is that I will save a deserving bride a few dollars and allow them to feel just as special and beautiful as I did on their day.

I have the original purchase receipts from The Bridal Centre in Brisbane and would be very happy to provide more photos of my dress on request.

ALTERATIONS:

The gown was a Size 9, but I had the bodice professionally altered to take it in. The hem was also taken up and a bustle added so that I could hook the train up at our reception.

As a guide, my measurements when I purchased the dress were as follows, but I lost a little bit of weight before our wedding:
- Bust: 33.5 inches
- Waist: 25 inches
- Hips: 43 inches
- Height: 168 cm

I usually wear an AU Size 8 top and an AU Size 12-14 pant. However, due to the full skirt, your hip / pant size wouldn't matter for this dress - you only need to fit the bodice.

There are a few slight marks on the inside of bodice and on the underside of the train, but they cannot be seen when the dress is worn or when the train is bustled.
