About the Dress

I originally purchased this dress for my wedding. It is a beautiful dress, but to be frank, I gained about 10-15 lbs before the wedding and went up from a wedding dress size 4 to a wedding dress size 8, street size 6, and chose to go with a different dress for the wedding rather than altering this dress further. The gown has never been worn except to try on for alterations. This gown is absolutely beautiful with a gorgeous sweetheart neckline and a low back that made me feel absolutely stunning. The original dress had a mesh top that was removed because the mesh was a skin irritant for me, but it helps highlight the neckline and back. The back has an elegant button up back with all the buttons and loops in pristine condition.

The sweetheart top feels very secure- nothing will be slipping out to scare any grandmas. My measurements should be used as the upper end values for fitting in the dress- I would recommend the dress for someone with lower measurements as the dress may require additional alterations if you use my sizing.

Please note that the lighting gives it more of a champagne color- the dress is white with embroidery that is white/silverish with pink/nude florals. Absolutely stunning for a spring or summer wedding and gives just a small pop of color.

I purchased bustle alterations with the dress- the dress has a French bustle, and I can provide the new bride with the guide from my alterations specialist for how to bustle. There is a close up picture of the bustle hooks provided in the images.
