Magistral is a dress full of romantic details. The top is made of lace with transparency, short delicate sleeves and a V neckline. The back is open and has a strip of embroidered lace across the lower back. The skirt is high on the waist and is made in chiffon, with a train and a split on the left.

The dress was bought from Angelica Bridal in London in May 2023 and worn for my wedding in July 2023. I absolutely love this dress, it was very comfortable and easy to wear. It was dry cleaned straight away and I haven’t spotted any marks on it (even around the hem which was a bit muddy after our garden wedding), although there may be a few minor flecks.

I hope this dress has another fabulous wedding (or two) to be in the spotlight!

Alterations

The dress was altered at Exclusive Alterations, to shorten the body part a bit (so the V neck wasn’t so deep), and to tighten the body part generally
It was shortened at the hem - I am 5’7” and wore flats for the wedding
I also had a loop added so the train could be attached at the back, and some extra fastenings added on the strap across the lower back so it would sit a little flatter
