The Dress

This stunning dress is an authentic certified Sottero and Midgley design. A classic silhouette available with a breathtaking, detachable, two tier illusion train on grosgrain ribbon for the bride intent on making the most of her walk down the aisle, then enjoying the dance floor thereafter. Stunning chantilly corded lace over delustered satin, allows for a elegant and timeless look. The dress is finished with zipper and covered button closure.

 The colour of the dress is Ivory- however, it is a very pale Ivory, with only a hint of the cream tones for warmth and to avoid a blueish hue.

The parisian mist ribbon attaches the train to the dress and is long enough in length to double round the waist or single tying at the front for a long bow. The dress also comes with a matching ivory grosgrain ribbon for when the bride wishes to remove the train.


Condition: Dress has only been worn once (obviously!) and has been professionally dry-cleaned. 


Size: Dress was ordered in a size 12 and tailored to fit bride by professional bridal dressmaker. The dress size in Australian sizes is roughly a size 8 bust, size 10 waist and size 12 hips. Bride was 167cm tall (with mid-size heels) and around 68kg on the day of wearing the dress. The last two images are prior to professional alterations (particularly length), included only as these closer imagers provide a better indication of the detail in the beautiful lace and train than the professional wedding photos. The lace is so lovely, and is on both layers of the dress which provides the right classic level of detail without it being over the top. The dress has discrete buttons to allow you to bustle it should you wish to, this came in handy for the bridal dance.
