My dress has been in it's original dress bag since it was worn. It was so comfortable, not heavy, flowed nicely when I moved. I loved everything about it. I had the sides taken in to fit my shape, so it is between a size 2 and 4. I also had breast cups sewn in the top to avoid any extra need for garments, I never had to pull on the dress to keep it up, everything stayed in place. There is bustling underneath the dress, easy to do to make it shorter. I hope that it can be the dress you are looking for as it was for me!
