The Dress

On a personal note- when shopping for a wedding gown I really wanted something that wasn't too heavy in the bodice and was flattering on my figure, a lot of gowns made me feel like I was a child pretending to be an adult getting married! But this felt just right, it held me in so I could eat/drink whatever I wanted but didn't make me feel too restricted. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Seems like such a waste to let it sit in my cupboard and only be worn once.

DRESS DETAILS

This elegant and beautifully crafted Suzanne Harward gown is from her couture collection. It features a structured bodice with an intricately detailed and unique French lace overlay together creating a stunning, feminine silhouette.

The structured bodice is just the right length allowing you to feel and look amazing no matter what angle and what lighting on your special day. It is especially flattering on the bust line with the inclusion of in built bra cups.

The lace overlay is the perfect balance of ocean inspired beading and lace, not to mention the placement around the hips subtly creating the flattering shape.

When looking at the back of the dress you will notice a low cut back featuring scalloped edging & buttons all the way down. I asked for the lowest back achievable while still maintaining a flattering strapless bust at the front.

The bodice & overlay is met by the fluid skirt of georgette, if you look closely you will notice the silk has been crafted with meticulous placement shaping the silhouette.

*Finger loop and bustle can be used for the train
*Has been professionally dry-cleaned by a wedding gown specialist
 in Hawthorn.
*This gown was damaged on my wedding day at the base (only the top layer) from walking. I would have fixed it but the dry cleaner suggested waiting because it will depend on how tall the buyer is as to what length you would want it.
*Size 8-10 and may fit a size 6. I'm 5'6" and wore 9cm heels on wedding day.
