Dress is not off the rack. Super comfy and made to be worn. I didn't spend the entire night adjusting it, like one would think with a strapless dress. This dress made me feel so beautiful and it was just a fun look!! I wore Keens as my shoes because we were married in the Black Hills National Forest (explains my height, I'm 5'10" w/out). No alterations to the dress, but I did have a bustle added for convenience at the reception (picture of hubby and me dancing).
