Official description of dress:

"A dreamy lace and tulle slim line gown with V-neckline and cap-sleeves features a separate slip gown of Vogue Satin to be worn below. The alluring open back is finished with a covered button over zipper closure. Includes a detachable satin ribbon belt."

I wore the dress in July 2015, it was a rainy day so the bottom got muddy but I paid £150 to get it dry cleaned and all marks have been removed and it looks good as new.

In the pictures from the day it looks quite bright but hopefully you'll be able to tell from the other two pictures that it is actually classed as 'champagne'.

I paid £200 for alterations. This included getting the length taken up (I am 5ft 8inches and wore a small heel on the day), I had a loop put in so it could be hooked up on the evening which will need to be added again if required as it came down towards the end of the evening. I also had implants sewn in as I couldn't find underwear to support me that would work with the gap in the back of the dress. These were removed when I got the dress dry cleaned (I still have them though so could include these if required).

The dress is very flattering, I have a small waist but a bit of a tummy and big hips and bum and it fit perfectly and I felt very confident in it. It doesn't have any boning so was very comfortable to wear on the day. I bought some SPANX to wear underneath and you could wear them without it showing.

The back is really the show stopping element of the dress so I wanted to try and convey this through the picture. The train is substantial enough to feel elegant and dramatic but not too cumbersome that it feels heavy to carry.
