The Dress

I got married this year in May and I absolutely loved my dress.
However, I do live in New York and we do not have a lot of storage so I am looking to sell my dress and have someone else enjoy it on their special day.

I bought my dress from Kleinfeld New York and the designer is Essense of Australia. The model of the dress is D3414 in color ivory with a biscotti color under-layer. https://www.essensedesigns.com/essense-of-australia/wedding-dresses/d3414/

The dress has beautiful details from top to bottom: nice lace, buttons at the back, an underlaying layer of glitter, dropped sleeves (which you can lift up as I did during our first dance, but had them down for the rest of the day) and a beautiful long train.

Alterations

I had my dress altered by one of Kleinfeld's seamstresses. These are the changes that I have done:
1. Taken the dress in around the waist - so I would say it is probably a size smaller than the label.
2. Added an inside, strong elastic to keep the dress in place all night (see picture attached). My dress did not move an inch all day, it also helps with taking the stress off the zip at the back. I think this was the best/smartest alteration done. It also has 2 levels at which you can tighten it.
3. Brought in the straps a bit, making the neckline more flattering.
4. Added bustles to the dress at the back. I added a video of our first dance so that you can see how nice the bustling was done. The train can be lifted up using a few buttons at the back and allows you to dance all night without worrying that people will step on the beautiful train and not having to drag it around all evening.
