Adrianna Papell, Platinum Collection - Custom Made

Easily modified for taller or smaller brides. See explanations below. I'm happy to give more explanation to serious buyers.

This Adrianna Papell Platinum Collection dress was made for me for my Feb 2023 wedding.
It took 7 months to commission and arrive but worth the wait.

It is described by the designer as a 'destination wedding dress'.
Simple, elegant.... but Ohhh...so...special with head-to-toe beading and sequins.

I've added photos of me so you can see that I am a very real size 16. This silhouette gave me confidence as it addressed all my problem areas.

A professional seamstress made some minor alterations, but none are permanent (ie; no cutting etc). I really wanted to leave the dress intact so that it can be worn again by someone else. The small adjustments we made are easily undone so you can then tailor it to your height, shoes and torso length etc. In total the small adjustments I had made only cost $70.

More about this beautiful dress:

- The dress is A Line and has a small, shaped train.
- Length is 149cm - 153 cm at its shortest point, which is the front middle. (Note it is currently 149cm but has allowance to drop the hem down another 4 cm making it 153 cm). Easy & cheap alteration to make it the right length for you and your shoes.
- Ivory/Pearl. Best described as an off-white. I looked at the white version but it was much too bright and stark for my liking.
- Underneath there is a champaign coloured satin lining (which you can not see when worn).
- Boulson (foux wrap) top
- Flutter elbow length sleeves
- The V back has pretty beaded ties attached to the shoulder - they keep the shoulders from slipping down because the front is also V neck. A pretty and unexpected feature of the dress.
Your seamstress can very easily adjust the length of these ties so that they sit exactly at the length perfect for your back. (This is what I did, and again we didnt do any cutting, so you can do this also).

Modifications made that are easily & cheaply undone without affecting the dress:

Length: I did not want to cut the hem/sequins. So instead we tucked up 4cm under the boulson top and put temporary stictches in there. I was very happy with this easy solution. You can do the same to get it just the right length for you and your heals.

Condition:
The outer is excellent condition. Worn once, but in as new condition.
The satin lining underneath has some pulling and marks from the concrete etc on the day. You can not see these when it is being worn.
