The Dress

I had this dress made custom as a cost effective dupe of the Ines di Santo Robin. I wanted to wear it after all my formalities so I could worry less about getting things dirty. I actually didn't have time to change into it before my first dance which I actually wore a different sequined dress. So it's unworn and new! Never been dry cleaned.

Again, this is not the original Ines di Santo Robin dress, but made to look similarly. The fabric is still silk, still has cups, an added waist seam to make a more flattering, snatched waist, and a similar corset back. The fabric is a thinner and still requires the right undergarments.

The measurements I used to make this are as follows:

Full Bust: 34 inches = 86.36 cm
Full Waist: 30 inches = 76.2 cm
Full Hip: 37 inches = 93.98 cm
Measurement from the shoulder to the bust (to the nipple) 9 inches = 22.86 cm
From the shoulder to the waist (across the bust) 14 inches = 35.56 cm
From the waist to the end of skirt (barefoot) 40 inches = 101.6 cm
Your height: I am 64 inches = 162.56 cm

The outcome of the dress was great, but a little loose and I lost a bit of weight so I took in the fabric a tad in the hips.

I wear a street size 4, like a petite, average, slightly hippy small. If you're similar to me, you'll have a lot of work with this dress! I'm 5'4'' without shoes.
