This dress is a V-neck corded lace slim line bridal gown with lace cap sleeves and a sheer lace back with keyhole feature. It fastens on the back of the bodice with self covered buttons and an invisible zip in the skirt. It has an art deco inspired velvet belt attached to the waist which the dressmaker informed me could be removed quite easily.

The dress retails for $3500 and I paid $3900 at the Armadale boutique in Melbourne. It was purchased in November 2013. This dress was worn once and has been professionally dry cleaned and is in great condition (looks brand new).

I am 175cms tall and I wore 3 1/2 inch heels on the day. I chose to wear a strapless bra under the dress as I am quite small busted. The dressmaker attached small flat press studs to the inner lining of the dress to attach to the bra so it would look flawless, however these could be removed easily if you chose not to wear a bra. I had the dress taken in at the hips slightly to give it a more slim-fit as opposed to A-Line. I also had the lace sleeves sewn into more of a cap sleeve shape as opposed to the original design in which the lace was sticking up a little.

I felt amazing in this dress. It is a supportive and comfortable dress without boning and is very light weight. It is a classically elegant dress that can be styled in many ways. Our wedding was also featured in a bridal magazine and most of the comments I received were about my stunning dress.
