About the Dress

I brought this dress from Sophie Voon in Wellington for my 2013 wedding.
It was dry cleaned soon after the wedding and placed in an acid free box and has been in storage since then.
The dress is too beautiful to sit in storage so I've decided to sell.
It is a standard size 10 and I had a few alterations done- bust line taken in, shortening of lining, underlay and overlay and clips put in underlay in order to lift dress up for dancing.
I'm 166 cm and wore 5 cm heels and I was a standard size 10 at the time.
The lace is beautiful and the photos don't do it justice. Its described on the tag as beaded renaissance lace.
Prior to the wedding I had all the bedding gone over and loose beads secured. There are a few loose ones from the day however.
The dress is made up of 3 layers-underlay, overlay and then the beautiful lace layer over the top which is slightly longer. The lace layer at the bottom of the dress is the same material as the cap sleeves. The cap sleeves do up at the back with a simple pearl bead and there's a zip on the lower back.
