The Dress
This dress was an absolute dream to wear on one of the best days of my life – and I'm gutted at the idea of selling it. It's slinky, beautifully made, and the fabric has an amazing feel to it. Unfortunately, we're on a money-saving mission at the moment and, it seems a shame not to let someone else enjoy it! I haven't included my current measurements, as I'm between an 8/10 usually, but I lost some weight for the wedding. My bust size has always been around the 34D mark, and I'm a petite 5 foot 2", with fairly narrow hips. The length stopped around my ankle – and I haven't had it tailored/altered. It's as it was when I bought it from Galvan. So overall, I'd say this style definitely suits a short/petite body shape. On the description here, I've ticked the "straight" shape box, but it subtly kicks out at the hem for a nice, flattering silhouette. I particularly loved the gorgeous ribbons at the back, they look fab in photos when you're dancing etc. I had it dry cleaned after the wedding as there were a few red wine spots that needed removing. When I picked it up, the dry cleaner said they "almost completely" removed the stains – but I can't see any. They're not visible to the naked eye.
