The Dress
Gorgeous Lillian West wedding dress with illusion neckline and low back. This dress was the perfect mix of detailed lace with simple elegance. I felt beautiful in this dress and it wasn't overly heavy so it was easy to move around. I only wore it for a few hours at a destination wedding as we did not have a reception. Covered buttons cascade down to the start of the train. 4 layers of fabric comprise the skirt with chiffon on the outside. Other fabric includes charmeuse, sequins, lace, and tulle. Color is ivory/ivory/nude. Chapel length train. The dress was a size 6 but I normally wear size 4. Small cup size.
Alterations
Hemmed to my 5'9" height. I wore flats with this dress. This dress used to have a low V neckline but I had my seamstress fill this in for extra coverage and she did a fantastic job. You wouldn't be able to tell unless you knew what it looked like before alterations. Last photo shows what dress looked like before alterations. You could probably remove appliqués if you wanted the deep V look again. Straps were taken in slightly along with torso around bust area.
