“Took a few months to sell but otherwise really simple process! Also really appreciate the fact that you don’t take commission. Would definitely recommend to my friends.”

Alterations

  • I had a fitting with Rime, and these alterations were done by her seamstresses
  • Back of the dress was lowered so the v comes down lower than the original (in last photo)
  • The slit at the front was taken up higher but could easily be altered
  • I'm quite petite (5ft 2") for reference, but wore 130mm/ 5 inches heels on the day
  • Dress is technically a size FR36 (UK 8 | US 2) but was taken in at the hips and waist as I'm closer to a size 6
  • Loop added to the train and bustle tie inside the dress (which I never actually used)
  • I can try to take measurements of the dress if required

About the Dress

Rime Arodaky - Enola Gown
Originally size FR36

This 'Enola' gown is cut from fluid white crepe that cascades poetically to a pooling train and has sheer tulle panels decorated with delicate floral embroidery. Their lace comes from the same place that Chanel source from (it is absolutely exquisite!). The clean, plunging neckline is mirrored at the open back and accentuated by diaphanous georgette ties. Simply put, it's beautiful from every angle.

Dress is worn but has been professionally dry cleaned twice (costing over £250). Therefore I stated condition as "used - with minor flaws". I still have the original gloves for handling the dress, so happy to include these too.

Dress was purchased from The Mews Bridal in Notting Hill. I had my fitting with Rime (she was absolutely lovely!)
Paid £3,200 + alterations.
