Alterations
- I had a fair few alterations done to the dress, totalling $700 to get the dress right
- The things my alternations lady changed about the dress are listed below:
- Hemming of the dress itself
- No hemming was done to the overskirt
- The dress was taken in around the bust and hips for a smooth finish
- Structuring was added to the bow so it stood up on the back of the dress
- The bow comes floppy when purchased and I didn't like this look
- I wanted the bow to have shape and stand up
- A small waist band was made from the leftover hem so that once the overskirt was removed, a waist band could still be put on
