The Dress

This Jenny Packham Esme gown is ivory on ivory, with clear and ivory beading (NOT the silver beading seen on most of the runway pictures viewable online). I wore the gown just once for my June 2015 wedding. It is a UK size 16, which equates to a US size 12. My measurements are Bust: 42" Waist: 35" Hips: 44". I had the length of the gown altered to fit my stature of 5'8" wearing 4" heels, for a standing height of 6' even. I wore Nina shoes in style Emma. I had an elastic band sewn into the waist of the gown on the inside in order to make it fit more snuggly on my natural waistline without an added belt. This could very easily and inexpensively be removed, and it is completely unseen from the outside of the gown. There was also a button and loop added to the insider lining to allow for the dress to have a French bustle. I was not comfortable going braless, so I had the back cut away from a Maidenform Flexees Body Briefer style undergarment. The lingerie color was Butter Cream, which matched the ivory of the dress perfectly, but that didn't even matter because it was completely hidden under the gown, allowing me to wear it backless as intended. I have NOT had the dress cleaned. There is some light dirtying on the underside of the tool near the hem of the train. It is in otherwise excellent condition and I am selling the dress as is. This truly was my dream dress and I felt unbelievable wearing it. I hope the person who buys it absolutely loves it, and feels as gorgeous in it on her wedding day as I did!
