Jesus Peiro 2in1 Bridal Look, Bespoke 979 Style

979 is made up of a chic, tailored overcoat made from a luxurious satin mikado silk, which sits above a light and floaty tulle skirt. I took the 979 Coat dress (Heritage bridal collection), and made the following alterations.. I altered the shoulder from a Raglan Sleeve to a super structured set-in shoulder, I removed the delicate petals (found on the original design), and shortened the sleeves a touch.

I felt absolutely regal in this bridal style and would so love for it to be worn again! .. First look gave me big bridal feels, traditional yet quirky with its high-collared, long sleeved, discreet plunging front, key hole open back and frothy underskirt. It was also extremely comfortable which was a real priority for me! After our first dance, I took the dress coat off and replaced it with a (highstreet!) corset, that I had tulle sleeves clipped on to make it match the skirt - equalling an off-the-shoulder Audrey Hephurn-esk bridal look of dreams..

I'm 5ft 7 / 165 cm, Size 10, 34D

Worn in June 2022, the dress, skirt and corset have been professionally cleaned by specialist wedding gown cleaners - option to include white (again highstreet) Bridal Heels, Size 7, 2 inch heel, worn once. (Veil in pictures not included).

Flaws include:
Slightly frayed hem, not visible when on
1 x Caught thread in train, barely visible
