Just 7 weeks ago, I wore this custom designed Jane Hill Bridal gown on my special wedding day. Created using the most beautiful, delicate French beaded lace (hand-beaded), with a slip underneath to create a sheer, sophisticated and modern wedding dress. The dress features a higher neckline (in-built bust cups), fitted bodice and then a wrap-style with centre-split in the front of the dress. Due to the split, it hangs beautifully off the body (off the hip) and is extremely flattering on and when you walk. The low-V back (backless) is followed by a stunning train (with a bustle to pin up for the dance floor!). I love that this dress was a custom design, so no one else had ever worn this Jane Hill style. The sleeves feature 2 very small subtle pearl buttons to close the wrist, allowed the dressmaker to make the sleeves fit firm on the arm but allow them to easily fit around my hand to get the dress on and off.

I am a size 6-8 in most clothes and have a 10B or 12B bust, however the bust cups could easily accommodate an A or a C cup too, as they're sewn into the dress and are there for shape more than anything else. I imagine, you could easily replace the bust cups if you really wanted to if you needed a bigger or smaller?

The dress felt so beautiful on. It was so comfortable because due to the incredibly beautiful, delicate and unique fabric, the beading and lace hide any insecurities I had and fell around my body (and hip) in a really flattering way. The think silk waisted belt was also a really perfect addition to define my waist and to create a more flattering silhouette. The more sophisticated and conservative styling of the higher neckline and long-sleeve was perfectly balanced with the centre leg split and the backless feature, so it was just enough skin for my wedding day. The white lace and white beading were sewn onto a skin-coloured tulle, which meant the dress wasn't bright white - which I also liked, as I wanted something more modern, less traditional - going for a "red-carpet gown" style.

The dress was hand dry-cleaned by Jane Hill's recommended dry cleaner, Syndal's in Armadale VIC. I have the dry clean certificate too, plus a 50% off voucher for Syndal's for the next lucky bride to do the same.

Try-ons and viewings of the dress are more than welcome in Armadale Victoria. I absolutely loved wearing this dress and feel sad to say goodbye, but I also feel excited and happy to know that some other very lucky bride-to-be will also get the opportunity to wear this incredible gown on their wedding day too.
