LIMOR ROSEN: THE DESIGNER

Coming from a heritage of fashion designers who were among the first to establish themselves sixty years ago in Israel, fashion design was a natural choice for her.

Limor started at Bezalel Art Academy, where she was given the freedom to relate to garments as works of art and not only as items of clothing. Studying fashion at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, Limor came in contact with the highest standards of the European fashion industry. After training later on as part of the design team of the Diane von Furstenberg fashion house in New York, she set up her own studio, Limor Rosen Bridal Couture, in the heart of the Tel Aviv gallery district.

A WORD FROM EMILY:

This dress was a dream design for me. I was recommended the designer by a dear friend and colleague from Dior Couture, who was also married in one of her made-to-measure designs (I was obsessed with her dress and had to ask who the designer was)! I felt like I had been let in on an incredible sartorial secret. Limor's designs were modern, haute-chic and had the most intricate detailing. Her designs were not typically "bridal", a main point of appeal. I had visited so many bridal suites with the same old looks, styles and designs that I had already seen on many of my friends. Other Israeli designers that I did love were waaay out of my price range so I really felt lucky to have asked my friend (who is very "fashun" and in-the-know) who the designer of her dress was. (She's keeping her "Ariel" safe in its box under her bed - she's much more sentimental than me!)

I fell head-over-heels in love with "Olivia", you will too. The dress is so comfortable and the way it's designed (the top part is like stocking) it will mould to your body and fit like a glove. I had cups added but these can be removed. The skirt is chiffon so drops beautifully and floats with you as you move. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have!
