The Dress

My dress was purchased from Shades of White in Victoria, BC and worn twice - a summer wedding and a reception in Toronto a month later. I loved the soft Venice lace and the subtle sparkle of the Swarovski and pearl beading of the neckline, around the arms and down the back. Really flattering deep-V backline with satin covered buttons all the way down to the hemline (covering a zipper). Chapel length train and American-style bustle. Tulle and satin underlay.

My measurements at the time of first purchase were B:34.5", W:27", H:35.5" - I altered it twice (the second time for the Toronto reception) to make it a little tighter and give it a little more of a fish-tail look. It was more form-fitting and complimentary - I can provide more pictures on request. I'm 5'5", about 118lbs and wore a 2.5" heel on the day. I dry cleaned the dress twice (once after each reception) without the use of harsh chemicals at WetCleaner and there are no stains. I've stored it in a smoke-free home, pet-free home, and it will come with its original garment bag.
