The Dress
This Monique Lhuillier gown was a dream come true to wear on my wedding day. It was love at first sight when I found it as a sample dress at the Ana Be Bridal Boutique in Denver, CO. The blush peony shade is so feminine and the layered trumpet style is very flattering. The dress retails for $5,900 but was purchased at a discounted price of $2,800 as it was a sample dress, which is why it is now priced accordingly at $750. The dress has not been dry cleaned since my wedding day, however it has been kept in a sealed, protected garment bag. The bottom is slightly dirty from dancing and photos outside, but nothing a professional dry cleaner couldn't easily handle. The layers at the bust and near the back zipper would need to be reinforced during alterations as the thread has weakened.
