I loved my Maeve wedding dress from Monique Lhuillier and felt incredible in it! It was so flattering and looked incredible in photos – I got so many compliments. It was classic but still modern, and the lace was so beautiful. It has just the right amount of structure. It is heavy, but I was so comfortable throughout the ceremony and reception – the bodice really holds you in makes it easy to walk. It has a gorgeous blush undertone that makes it a really unique dress. I can't wait for it to make another bride's dreams come true!
It has an English Bustle, which can be a little complicated – but I have video instructions from the boutique on how to do it, which my bridesmaids were able to easily follow!
Alterations
I am 5"2 and wore 4.5" heels. The dress may have been half an inch too long for me so I think it would be perfect for someone 5"7 with heels. I have a small bust so there are cups in place that can be removed – but I think they really helped give a nice shape. I was approximately 106lbs on my wedding day and it fit perfectly.
