For sale: Amazing Mira Mandic Ivy wedding dress

Designer: Mira Mandic (Double Bay, Sydney) Dress: 'Ivy'

Material: bodice is sheer French Lace with a nude mesh layer underneath. The skirt is made from Italian Boucle - an incredible and unique material which is like a fine woven wool, with a subtle sparkle thread woven throughout. It is quite unusual and in trying on over 30 dresses I did not see anything else like it - ultimately this was what sold it to me as I wanted something out of the ordinary.

Design: the style of the dress is a fitted bodice, with an A-line skirt. The skirt, you will see from the photos, is slightly too large for me (I was apparently smaller than the dressmakers mannequin), but in other photos I have seen of brides wearing it, it takes a more figure hugging hourglass shape with someone who has actual hips/curves. I recommend looking at the Mira Mandic website and googling the dress for photos of other brides wearing it, to get an idea of how versatile it can be. The dress has a discreet bustle to tie up the skirt for dancing.

Customisations: the original dress design features an open back - like flaps falling either side of the centre. I opted to bring the two sides together and form a key hole feature on the back, which fastens with a small invisible hook (see photos).

Condition: Worn once, professionally dry cleaned in Rose Bay, currently boxed (in a children's christening box - that's how petite it is!) There are the usual signs of wear around the hem of the dress, only very dull marks, but otherwise on the body of the dress there are no visible stains - I avoided getting any make up, liquids, beverages etc on the dress on the day (luckily).

Underwear: I wore an adhesive bra and found the perfect underwear that did not show through the dress (I can give you the details).

Wearability: the dress is extremely comfortable, honestly more comfortable than the outfits I wear to work or out clubbing. there is no boning or hectic structural pieces to dig in. i danced for hours without worrying about my dress and importantly, could go to the bathroom unaccompanied!

The details (all approximate but as accurate as possible)

My height: 158 cm. My height with wedding day heels: 164.5 cm (I wore pale blue Tony Bianco 'Ajana' heels). My size: My upper half is smaller than my lower half. I usually wear a size 6 in general, sometimes an 8 for skirts/pants, but my bust size is 10A at a stretch, so keep that in mind.
