The Dress

This dress is the most flattering style out there - I tried on dozens of dresses and nothing hugged my curves in a more flattering way. The Faye from Gala by Galia Lahav is a romantic fit-to-flare mermaid gown, highlighted by a low plunging V-neck, low back design, dramatic flared skirt with a long train, and embellished with 3D lace and blush sparkle tulle. This dress is breathtaking - dramatic and romantic from top to bottom. It is also super comfortable even though it is so fitted. I wore it all night and felt great! I styled it like the G-104 with custom made bows (these are not included - I just got an amazon veil and had them made from that by the tailor), but it comes with the original sparkle tulle sleeves which have not been altered.
This dress was $9500 CAD originally and I paid $1000 in alterations, including adding a 3-point bustle, which has not been accounted for in the price. It has been professionally cleaned and is in immaculate condition.

Alterations

I added a 3-point bustle, and hemmed the dress as shown in the height listing above (I am 5"2 and wore 3" heels). The tailor was incredible - she removed every 3-D applique by hand before hemming the fabric, and re-attached them in accordance with the original design. The top of the dress was also taken in a fair bit in both height of my torso (the top of the straps was shortened) and width, as my torso is closer to a size 0 or 2. With the sheer and stretchy fabric, though, I think this would fit a lot of people and you could easily have it taken out a bit if needed. I also added cups to the bust which could be removed if needed.
