About the Dress

My Steven Khalil Haute Couture Wedding Dress was custom made, inspired to be intricate, sophisticated and effortless.

In my opinion is exactly that- I LOVED wearing this dress. It is divine, so intricate with very fine detail, but at a glance it also looks so effortless and flows. I wanted a very organic feel.

The dress is based with a beautiful nude silk organza (to give a very organic feel and show the element of detail, also to give it that bit more of a couture gown feel rather than too much of a typical "wedding dress" feel, which I wanted to avoid). The entire dress overlays the silk organza with french chantilly lace (very delicate and provides a very intricate nature to the dress). The dress has a split which is not noticeable when standing, very subtle when walking - the split is lined with chatilly lace scalloping as is the border of the gown. As a third layer, an art deco type, muted beaded french lace has been applied to give beautiful arches and a unique design aesthetic to the dress. The concave curves on the waist have strategically been placed inwards to give more of a tiny waist feel and form to a beautiful feminine figure (with help of the internal corset of course and subtle fish tail). The bust and back is lined with french lace scalloping also.

The internal corset does not have cups as I did not need this and wanted a very effortless look (not too 'busty' - I wanted to keep the look very elegant). The corset runs from the bust to the hip where the split begins.

I ask ONLY serious buyers contact me in regards to the dress and especially for a home visit to try on. This dress is for a small size 6 (it could be considered a size 4-6, particularly on the hips) - please measure yourself before considering to try the dress. I do have a very small frame.

My bust is a 10D, so if needed and you are smaller, an alterer could adjust this for you. The corset is very tight and unforgiving so if you are not within my measurements, please do not attempt to try. If you are smaller or shorter, of course there is room for alterations and I have someone I can recommend. Dress is in impeccable condition & been dry-cleaned.

The dress is for sale for $6,000.
