The Dress
In March this year I was married in a gown made by Paddington-based couture designer Moira Hughes. As much as I adore the gown, it makes no sense to hold on to it, so I am hoping to pass it on to another bride to be.
This is an ivory gown with a fine webbed French lace strapless bodice, which gathers at the waist. It has a fitted silk skirt underneath a billowing silk chiffon skirt, giving a beautiful silhouette.
I had the dress dry cleaned within a week of the wedding. There are some superficial marks on the very bottom of the skirt, however it is very long so these are hardly noticeable and could be completely removed by slightly shortening the train.
