The Dress

My wedding was held in July 2022 at a Chateau in the French countryside. This dress truly lived up to the task of making me look and feel like royalty on our special day. I cannot be happier with the dress, the photos and the many many compliments I received. Absolutely stunning dress!

The dress is ivory with "light blush" lining. Its many layers and appliques give it beautiful volume, texture and movement.

A five point bustle was added to lift the train for reception and dancing, although I did end up changing into a second look to fully bust a move later into the night.

On Galia's website they describe the dress as:
"A gown made for royalty, the Fabiana is a hand embroidered masterpiece. This voluminous 3D ballgown features a sheer corset top and scoop neckline, with a full skirt made of embroidered tulle and further adorned with 3D floral embellishments."
... it totally lives up to the hype!

Alterations

This dress was custom made from the designer (Galia Lahav) and includes a few alternations done by Bridal Reflects, the bridal salon where it was purchased in New York.
The original bodice is nude transparent with white appliques - this was altered to have a opaque nude liner in the front only, back is still transparent. The original bodice did not include cups, those were added by the bridal salon.
It was fitted for length, I was 5'10" in my wedding heels.
The skirt is layered but was still relatively transparent, a nude slip was added.
There is a modest train on the dress, and a five point bustle was added to lift the dress after the ceremony
