Alterations
- Main alterations I made: I kept the long train, which can be shortened if desired
- I added a 3-button bustle on the outer lace layer because the long train is a bit heavy for 1-button (and the underneath layer bustles too)
- I'm short (only 5'2" with heels), so shortened the front of the dress to fall at my feet
- The previous bride had narrower hips and bust than I do and had done alterations to take it in at those areas, so I let out the dress in those areas, probably back closer to its original form
- I'm a slim athletic build - this dress fit snugly around my ribs and hips, but I have very small breasts so used cups to fill those in! Happy to leave in the cups or remove
- Minor precise adjustments at the straps to make it all fall right
