The Dress

Coco is a sheer A-line dress made of a 3-D embroidered silk tulle featuring an invisible illusion neckline, a low back and organza flower accents. With layers of fluffy nude tulle under the long skirt and train, this dress is truly romantic, the illusion tulle neckline with hand sewn floral appliqué makes the dress appear to be growing on your body, a truly fairytale design! I got so many comments about how magical the dress looked with the flowers over the sheer bodice. Both the fabrics and the craftsmanship are sublime, nothing else I tried on even came close, it has been made with such attention to every delicate detail it’s like a piece of art. This dress was purchased from Browns Bride in London and comes with a Browns Bride waterproof garment bag and an Extra Large Empty Box Company wedding dress box with acid free tissue paper (in Endsleigh Ivory) I am 32” bust, 27” waist, 5”5’ height + 4 inch heels. I’m also selling the shoes (not included in price) - Harriet Wilde Bridgettes with Gold Blossom embellishment. They are a size UK 6 and look basically new as I changed into flats straight after our meal.

Alterations

The Browns Bride seamstress added cups in (which could easily be removed) and a bustle for dancing in the evening, she also added boning only up the sides, to help hold it in place whilst sitting/dancing etc. She altered the length to suit me, at 5’5” plus 4” heels. Label is a 12 but Galia follows the same trend as most other bridal labels and is a couple sizes smaller than high street sizes, so the 12 fit me perfectly on the waist as a size 8 with a 27 inch waist, I had the shoulders taken in a little but that was the only size alteration.
