This dress is the absolutely dazzling Avalon gown by iconic Australian designer Rachel Gilbert.

The Avalon is part of the 2014 Resort collection; it was purchased in April at the Rachel Gilbert store in Paddington, NSW and is brand new (with full receipt), in its’ original black garment bag and has been dry cleaned and bead checked at the Rachel Gilbert Flagship store. It is in perfect, original condition.

The dress has an intricate hand beaded bodice which is identical front and back (with an invisible zip), and the beading follows down the side of the dress over the hips; the fabric is an ivory Georgette top layer which looks beautiful on the skin, with two layers of luxurious silk satin lining underneath.

I love this dress, and it has been a very difficult decision to sell. However, I have purely had a change of heart and have found a dress to suit my casual-style Noosa wedding.

Tagged a size 0, I am 172cm tall, 60kg and a standard size 8. The material is not restricting, moulds to the body and flows beautifully into a soft, floor length fluted bottom. This dress is sold out online and was the last in its size to be made.
