About the Dress

This is an Alfred Angelo dress, style 2123. It was purchased as a size 0 and was altered to fit a 5'4, 110 lb frame. When the length was altered, the material was tucked up as opposed to cut so it can be lengthened if needed. I loved that as a petite person it flattered my curves but still allowed me to have flowing layers and a train. I also loved the corset back and it was fun to have pictures of my mother tying it up. I had bra cups (34B) sewn into the dress so I did not need to wear a bra underneath. I felt extremely secure and comfortable. It bustled very nicely to allow me to dance the night away.

It did not get noticeably dirty during the wedding. Regardless, it did receive the full wedding gown preservation service which included dry cleaning, prevention against yellowing, and acid-free wrap (and whatever else is typically included; I just asked for the full package and let them do their magic).
