Maggie Sottero (Sottero and Midgley) Zander Ball Gown Wedding Dress in Black over Nude.

As the Maggie Sottero website says 'A black ball gown wedding dress designed for the unconventionally chic.'

I felt amazing in this dress and described it to my friend as feeling very 'Gone with the Wind' - I felt like Scarlett O'Hara, the dress has a beautiful sway and movement to it.

Due to a change in circumstances/postponed wedding date this dress is no longer suitable for me and is completely un-worn and un-altered, it hasn't been worn for any length of time, only tried on and photographed.

It truly is a spectacular and breathtaking dress. This full length, ball gown style dress features contrasting layers of tulle, lace motifs, and Chantilly lace all accented in 3D floral lace motifs. The top layer of lace over the skirt is black whilst the layers underneath are nude and white giving the dress a light, feminine feel and appearance. The sheer bodice features illusion long sleeves and a plunging V-neckline (the dress includes a detachable modesty panel which shortens the V and gives the option to create a more demurer neckline).

In photographs the dress is being worn with a long line nude bra - however it can be worn just with the slightly padded, sewn in bra cups - these were lightly tacked into the bodice of the dress but removed for me when trying on the dress but could easily be reattached if desired - if worn like this there would be no difference in skin tone and the bodice would appear the same as the illusion sleeves.

The dress also features a scoop back and elegant train, the dress fastens at the base of the scoop back with a concealed zip and covered buttons, all buttons and fasteners are complete and in full working order. Spare buttons and lace are included with the dress.

The dress' hemline is trimmed in horsehair, completing the tulle ballgown skirt and providing elegant bounce and movement to the dress.

I am 5'8" and in the photographs the dress is worn without any shoes.

As the dress is un-altered it can be tailored to your specific measurements with the help of a seamstress.

I am happy to discuss delivery options for the dress but delivery costs will be the responsibility of the buyer and I will specify a tracked and insured service as it is such a high value item. If you are local to me (Chichester) you are welcome to collect the dress in person, the dress could also be collected from Potters Bar or Wakefield - I have family in these locations and would happily take the dress there for collection purposes.

The dress will be carefully packaged and a protective dress bag is included.
