Beautiful full lace dress in a silvery ivory vintage tone. (the colour in the photos is very accurate) and white slip underneath (which made the contrast of the silvery ivory tone stand out more)

I absolutely fell in LOVE with this lace when I saw it! I actually changed the whole plan of what I thought I wanted for my dress when I stumbled across it in the back of a fabric shop- it is just so gorgeous!!! I had so many compliments- no one had ever seen anything quite like it!

The dress is actually in 2 separate pieces- the silk slip underneath and the lace dress overtop. Even though I had the dress made for me- it has so much give and natural movement in the lace it would easily adapt to anyones body shape. You may just have to get a white slip made to fit your body.

I used 2 pieces of grosgrain ribbon (in off white and cream) loosly tied in a bow around my waste which I felt gave it that extra little something and really finished off the whole 'look'

The dress was so comfortable and easy to wear- it just falls so beautifully from your body.

There is a small train at the back- and at the end of the night I just hooked one of the holes in the lace around the buttons down my back to lift it up off the ground (for the first dance)
