The Dress

A unique opportunity for the bride who wants a quality wedding gown but not the price tag that comes with it. This is a new with tags Da Vinci gown, style 8396. It is ivory supreme satin with a taffeta bow sash in café / tan. The cathedral train is so pretty. The quality satin of this gown is evident in the way it drapes. There is light padding and boning in the bust area. The overall length of this gorgeous gown is 60 from top of shoulder seam to bottom of hem.

This dress needs some work. There are two spots which cannot be removed on the bottom hem area of the train. The first spot is about 1/4 long by 1/32 wide and is located 3 from the bottom hem line of the train on the left hand side of the dress when viewed from the back. It is a very small stain but we disclose all defects in any dress we sell. The second stain is on the underside of the train very close to the side seam on the left hand side of the dress when viewed from the back. The remainder of the dress is in beautiful new condition. Due to the length of this gown, this would be a perfect opportunity for someone under 5'6. This dress could be re-hemmed by an experienced seamstress to remove the portion of the train that have the two stains. Since the stains are so close to the hemline, this would be easy to do. There is built in netting to keep the A line shaping intact. The dress is fully lined and the quality seam work of this gown is obvious

This is a sophisticated and breathtaking gown when seen in person. Its simplicity makes it a classic. The quality of the satin is evident and the sheen is beautiful. The label reads size 10 and we find it fits true to a size 10 or for someone who is between a size 8 and 10. Measurements were taken with the bodice lying flat as follows: bust 17 (with the padding this dress could easily accommodate up to a C cup), waist 16, hips 20.
