The Dress

I purchased this dress back in December from a local bridal shop. I received it in about July and felt completely different about it. I paid 600 in alterations and decided ten days before I got married that this was a beautiful dress, but not the one for me. I ended up with a strapless silk dress with a high side slit- completely different from this one. This dress is brand new and I only wore it when I tried it on for alterations. It was taken in about two dress sizes to be a size ten. My shoes were a short block heel and with them on the dress was just below my toes to the floor. It has a bustle already on it and is ready to go for someone! It really is a beautiful dress, I just didn’t feel like I lost enough weight to feel really comfortable and beautiful in it. I hope someone finds it and loves it and is able to feel beautiful on their wedding day! I know that the asking price is not that much less than what I paid for it, but with 600 in alterations already done, I really am trying to just not have a huge loss. The second dress that I bought and wore was an additional 800. I feel like I have so much money into this dress, and I’m ready to let go.

Taken in on the sides, tightened up on the shoulders, length taken off, and bustle added.
