The Dress

I knew this was ‘the dress’ from the moment I tried it on, and I hope another bride will love it just as much.

Worn once for my wedding in March 2014, the dress is a beautiful mix of tulle and lace with white gemstone embroidery, and an elegant semi-sheer draped V-neck.

The style is ‘Landra’ from the 2014 collection by Spanish designer Pronovias, and the dress was purchased from Modes in Auckland for $3000 NZD.

I am a size 8-10 and it was tailored in store to fit my figure. I also had the back altered to a lower V, and bra cups sewn in (cup size 10B).

I am 168cm tall and wore low heels on the day. The dress is to the floor, with a small train which can be hooked up when it’s time to dance.

It was incredibly versatile and comfortable to wear, from pre-photos at 2pm to dancing the night away until 12am.

The dress has been professionally cleaned at Regal drycleaners for $270 and is ready to wear again!
