Extremely flattering, feminine, timeless and elegant!

This dress has the look of a vintage dress (without the price tag!)- I had many people ask at the wedding if this dress was vintage.
The gorgeous 'light gold' colour is very warm and flattering against your skin tone, particularly for paler skin people like myself! As you can see in the photos, the dress has a very subtle warm tone to it, no one would consider it 'gold', but just a warm, vintage-y tone. It is very flattering and a bit special and still looks very much like a traditional wedding dress, without being stark white.

The shape is considered an A-line and just lightly curves in around the knees and flares back out again, like a very delicate 'fit and flare'. I found the dress to be extremely figure flattering and seemed to knock a few inches off my waistline. The built-in corset really enables the wearer to obtain an hourglass shape, whilst still being comfortable. Whilst I always wanted a button-up dress, the shop assistant advised me to go for a lace up corset back as these allow the wearer to get a much tighter and defined waist- I was very happy with the lace up back, which allowed for the dress to really hug my waist and support my chest! I have a large bust (12E) and did not wear a bra on the day- the dress gave lots of support. I am sure someone with a smaller bust would also suit the dress as the corset could tighten as needed.

The dress is made of tulle with a satin inner lining. Over the tulle are beautiful bead and lace motifs, particularly over the torso and top of the dress, these gently cascade to the bottom of the dress.The bottom of the dress is stunning and finished in lace. The dress has a beautiful train which moves so beautifully and is the perfect length- beautiful but still practical. I loved looking down and seeing my toes poking out the bottom of the dress on my wedding day, and spinning around and watching the train twirl with me!

The dress has a sweetheart neckline, very flattering, as well as delicately beaded cap sleeves. These sleeves are detachable, however I had them professionally sewed into place to ensure they didn't pop off on the day. If you wished to have this dress as a sweetheart strapless dress they are very simply removed (though I love the sleeves!!) In addition to this I had the dress taken in slightly around the waist/just under the bust- this could also easily be let out if needed. A bustle has also been sewed in.

The dress was a perfect length from me, I am approx. 166cm tall and I was wearing 11cm heels on the day.

This dress made me feel more beautiful than I ever have, I felt elegant and so feminine- I want to sell it so another bride can experience that great feeling, rather than have it sit in my wardrobe!

I am including, for free, the full length 108 inch veil, in the same colour (RRP $400). This completed the dress for me. I also have a pair of cream lace shoes, size 8, which I am happy to include for free.
