The Dress

This was such a perfect dress for me, the simplicity and elegance of the Charlie Bear Harwood style made me feel really special - I loved how the layers of silk hung! I actually bought this dress from Still White in 2020 as the Pandemic had put a stop to trying dresses on in real life so I thought I’d see if I could find something online, I am so pleased I did. Therefore, this dress has been worn twice, once by me and once by the original owner (who bought it new), hence the lower price. The dress also comes with a silk sash.

The dress has been dry cleaned, however there are some very small marks which I have shown in the photos: a small dot on the bust and some dots under the armpit area and some small areas of discolouration on the hem. There is also a 1cm patch on the inside of the dress where I used Fashion tape, but this cannot be seen. I am more than happy to send additional photos of any areas of the dress. When the dress is on, I really don’t think these small areas will be noticed.

I am just over 5’3” and wore 4” heels and the length of the dress was perfect. I’m between a size 10-12 and my chest is 34DD. I had a very small ‘V’ sewn just under the armpits to allow more space in the chest area. I just wore boob-tape, rather than having cups sewn in.
