J Crew, Collection Lucinda Ball Gown

This dress is absolutely gorgeous, the fabric is top quality and it has pockets! I fell in love with this dress but unfortunately I am a size 4/6 and this is closer to an 8/10, it is miles too big for me. I didn't want to ruin the dress by altering it as it would have been too much of a size drop.

I bought the dress from eBay for $1500 from a seller who said:
This item was purchased directly from J. Crew. It has been thoroughly inspected to ensure you are receiving a brand new, unworn and top quality item. There is a small mark through the interior J. Crew logo to prevent store returns.

It is crafted in softly rippled cloque fabric, which has a unique hammered effect.
Featuring a seamed fitted bodice, with an interior corset for extra support, a slight sweetheart neckline and an inverted pleat skirt that falls to the floor with a sweep train.
Fully lined; back-zip w/ covered buttons and on-seam pockets
