About the Dress

Hi there, this was without a doubt, the finest couture dress I have ever owned. I LOVED wearing it on my wedding day. My mother and I bought it at one of the most magical places to buy a wedding dress, Marina Morrison Bridal Salon in San Francisco and when we were there to try on dresses, unbelievably, Amsale Aberra, the phenomenal Ethiopian fashion designer, was there for a trunk show and I got to meet her in person! The first two photos are of the exact dress from her runway show. It is a gorgeous dupioni silk gown (somewhere between A line and ballgown), sheer, sleeveless over the sweetheart neckline. I wore it with silk long gloves for our black tie garden wedding. So classic and stunning. There is a bustle in the back, to be put up during the reception and beautiful buttons going up the back. I felt like a queen in this. Want to pass on the designer LOVE to someone for their special day. I only wore it the one night of my wedding and besides a couple of buttons missing in the back (easy fix) and a rose, it was perfectly preserved and dry cleaned the day after in a hermetically sealed wedding gown box. Enjoy and I wish for many years of happiness and love to the lucky owner of this absolutely breathtaking gown. Priced to sell-for the right person this gown could be altered to your exact body, have minor fixes done for an amazing couture silhouette wedding dress--this is the FINAL PRICE--I can't afford to go any lower. You will be getting an unbelievable deal. Cheers XO
