The lace did not feel scratchy to me. I definitely felt like a princess in the dress! Worn to one full wedding event. The dress was professionally cleaned after event. Some smudges still noted along back of train from asphalt. Corset back gives a lot of flexibility in sizing-ranging from size 10-14. It feels very secure and snug around the waist. I loved it so much!! Dress is currently discontinued. Matching veil included.
