About the Dress

Designer Description:

ROMANTIC HIGH NECKLINE FIT-AND-FLARE WEDDING GOWN WITH SHAPED TRAIN
This modern wedding gown with dreamlike elements is something of another world! French lace brings the romance with this mixed-material bridal dress from Essense of Australia, placed atop tulle and embroidered laces to create the slightly sheer bodice with elegant high neckline and striking centerfront plunge. The beaded shoestring straps extend into a geometric, multi-banded back detail that is the epitome of fashion-forward style. Laces then trickle over strong, angular side cutouts for a stunning figure—falling onto the smooth stretch crepe for a negative space element. The dress transitions once again from the crepe skirt to the lace and tulle train, with unexpected scalloping and an out-of-this-world finish.

Owner Description:

This dress was everything I could ask for in a wedding gown. I received so many compliments and people asking where I found such a unique and beautifully detailed gown. The train itself made such a statement! I added a bustle (10th button down on the train) so the train wouldn't get damaged or walked over during the reception. There is very minor beading that was pulled on the train during use. The dress is currently not dry-cleaned, I'm hoping to sell as is way below market value for this reason.

The good news is that it's in GREAT shape for a used gown if purchased as is. No alterations were done to the dress with the exception of adding a bustle to the train. For reference, I am a taller woman (5'-9" without heels) so when I wore 3 inch heels with the dress, it was the perfect length.

Areas to note: a small grey smudge (smaller than a coin) on the front that I couldn't even notice at first unless I got very close to the dress. It looks like it can be easily removed--possibly dirt or dust (not from food / drinks)

The lining on the inside of the dress has some dirt on the bottom edges from walking around (we had a backyard wedding). This is not noticeable while worn and is only on the underside lining as I mentioned--pictures attached. If you're okay with some dirt in areas that cannot be seen to the public eye then this dress can be a steal for only $750.
