The dress is a stunning ball gown design featuring elegant embossed pure silk from shoulder to just under the bust line. It is vintage inspired in antique ivory and very classical dress.
The dress is custom made by Karen Willis Holmes and has long sleeves with silk covered buttons and loops at the wrist. The top and sleeves are bound with silk rope binding. The bottom part is pure silk from under the bust line shaped for the waist and flowing from the hips then flaring out to a train at the back. There are silk covered buttons and loops from the nape of the neck extending all the way to the bottom of the train. The gown is fully lined.
Material: Pure silk taffeta and the material of the dress looks amazing on. Very soft looking and weighted well so that it sits nicely when walking. Material lables and care instructions still on the dress.
The dress has a small trail (see pictures) and I wore it with a long veil which is included.
There are several small stain marks on the back section of the dress (approx. 100mm area) near the train as per attached photo which maybe removed by dry cleaning.
The dress is size 6 and A cup.
Dress has been dry cleaned twice and stored within a custom linen storage bag (included) in the hung position.
