About the Dress

I fell in love with this dress through an Instagram post and bought it second-hand last year from a bride who remains happily married to her husband with two babies (good karma!), and I married the love of my life in it earlier this month (double good karma!). It has been worn twice and dry cleaned and the beading is quite delicate so it is coming off in several places (see examples reflected in the photos), but I think this special dress has another good wear in it for a slightly unfussy (or perhaps spectacularly crafty?) bride. A lot of the beading that is coming off was already coming off when I wore it and it didn't show up at all in most of the photos. It is a truly unique dress that photographs beautifully. It is also pretty forgiving for different body types I think, as the woman I bought it from had a different frame to me but it fit both of us beautifully.

The dress was originally £2,800 and I paid £1,200. Now reduced to £300! The post-wedding dry cleaning was £150 so I think this is the lowest I can take but I do hope the dress gets another run. :)
