The Dress

This is a stunning unaltered gown, worn once, in a UK size 12 (translates to a US 8).This is a classic, elegant, 1920's style gown with all the charm of the Old Hollywood glamour days. It is in absolutely perfect condition with not even one bead missing or out of place. The gown is silk with a heavily beaded, intricate design, especially on the back where there are beads from shoulder to hem. The one change that the original owner made was to add a length of beading to the back of the neck closure to enhance the blouson effect. It can easily be removed if you like. It does have a button and loop to bustle the train for your reception to allow the bride great freedom of movement and comfort. I have listed the sleeve style as capped but in reality it looks more like it's sleeveless when it's being worn. You can see many pictures of the dress on models all over the internet (sorry I don't have one) as it was arguably the most popular wedding gown sold by this designer. There were two versions of it made, one with silver accents and one with ivory. The one we have to sell is the somewhat rare ivory version.  I purchased it from the original owner for my daughter's Gatsby wedding. But her wedding was cancelled and so it was never worn the second time. I purchased it in 2019, but I honestly don't know what year it was made. I included 2015 in the info above as a guess only. The price and shipping are negotiable and I am willing to entertain reasonable offers. But for the condition this is a great price.
